Geographical position

The territory of the settlement council of Pyliava is situated in the western part of Starokostiantyniv district. It is 55 kilometres from Pyliava village to Khmelnitsky city and 14 kilometres to Stara Syniava urban-type settlement. Cargo and passengers are mainly transported through the railway station of Starokostiantyniv (28 kilometres).

It is 22 kilometres to the highway E-50 (M-12) and 28 kilometres to the highway N-03. The airport of Khmelnitsky is 60 kilometres off.

Structure

Pyliava village is the centre of the settlement council of Pyliava, which also includes Oleksiivka, Oleksandrivka, Mykolaivka and Vyshneve villages.

Territory: 5107.19 hectares, with 3597.1 hectares in private and 1510.09 hectares in state ownership.

Population: 1420 persons, with 430 able to work.
